Hvad er forskellen mellem PTR1 og PTR2?

PTR2 har ændret udseende og form og er nu udført i plast.
PTR2 har en selvstændig menu-tast, separate lydstyrke op/ned taster, og eject knappen er flyttet.
Optagelsesniveau, hastighed og tone kontrol knapperne er flyttet til højre side af apparatet.
Afbryderen er også flyttet til højre side af apparatet og kan nu låses med tastelås/tastbeskrivelse knappen.
Kortlæser porten er flyttet til forsiden af apparatet under CD drevet, og er nu en Compact Flash port i stedet for en PCMCIA port.
Endvidere medfølger nu også et Compact Flash kort.
Mikrofonstikket er nu i stereo frem for mono.
PTR2 accepterer eksterne mikrofoner med plug-in strøm.
Automatisk gain kontrol (AGC) kan nu vælges for både den eksterne mikrofon og line in mulighederne så vel som den indbyggede mikrofon.
USB tilslutningen til en computer kan nu bruges direkte til at få adgang til CD drev og Comcact Flash kort porten.
PTR2 har 2 funktions modus - normal modus og bogindspilnings modus. Normal modus giver en enkel måde at producere en DAISY optagelse på. Bogindspilningsmodus giver brugeren adgang til mere avancerede redigeringsfunktioner.
Overskrift og side markeringer kan nu placeres med 0,1 sekunders nøjagtighed frem for at tilføje dem til bestemte fraser.

CAUTION:

Comparing to CF card, micro drive is weak for shock from outside because it includes a hard disk drive.
When you purchase 4GB or 6GB micro drive and use it in PTR2 for the first time, you will hear the announce "Erase card, are you sure?" When you select "Yes", the card is erased and you can start using.
